Olga Bulgakova Representing Russia

Olga Bulgakova was born in Moscow in 1951 and studied at Moscow's Surikov Art Institute. She has exhibited in Moscow, Sofia, Belgrade (Triennial of Contemporary Art), Venice (XL Biennale), Paris (Grand Palais), Düsseldorf, Stuttgart (Staatsgalerie), Hannover, Riga, Tallinn, Berlin, Dublin, Cologne, Bologna, London, St. Petersburg, Columbus, Ohio (Columbus Museum of Art), Greensboro, North Carolina (Wetherspoon Art Gallery of the University of North Carolina), Little Rock (Arkansas Art Center), Florence, Washington D.C., and, as part of the Ludwig Collection of Contemporary Art, in a circulating show seen in Lübeck, Vienna, Regensburg, Høvikodden Norway, Tilburg Netherlands, Saarbrücken and Mainz.

 

Bulgakova's work is in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, and the Museums of Art in Kemerovo, Omsk and Saratov, Russia, Sofia's Art Gallery of the International Foundation, and the Zimmerli Art Museum of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
