Carlos Revilla is one of those artists who found their own truth through Surrealism. Since he began to paint, he has been building with remarkable coherence and certainty a world which is sensitive to the metamorphoses of the torments of contemporary life, as well as to a hunger for poetry and freedom, which man has never renounced, not even in his worst periods of deviation. Revilla's world might be defined in three words: classic, aggressive and sarcastic.
